LUCART ECONATURAL products are made by recycling cellulose fibers found in beverage cartons.
LUCART ECONATURAL does not use felled trees in its production, but recycles materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill. The manufacturing process takes place thanks to a mechanical action that physically separates the materials without using substances harmful to people and the environment.
The quality of unbleached pulp fibers found in beverage cartons is comparable to virgin fibers and thus can provide superior durability and absorption properties in the finished product.
The percentage of long fibers in the recycled cellulose beverage cartons is higher than in the standard cellulose fiber mix. This feature allows for increased durability and absorbency that cannot be found in other organic products.
The typical light brown color of the Havana paper is due to the unbleached pulp fibers found in the beverage cartons, thus preserving the natural color of the wood.
